Nylon Magazine is a pop culture and fashion publication available in the United States. The name symbolises the intertwined relationship between New York and London. It has a solid position amongst the twenty-something group as well as appealing to the younger crowds with a typically female readership. Founded in 1999 by the team behind Ray Gun – the American Rock n Roll magazine – together with supermodel Helena Christensen, it has experienced a meteoric rise gaining a loyal following of 200,000 by 2001.
